WP9 Project Management and Co-ordination

WP LEADER UNIBO

Objectives

The overall objective of the Management WP is the smooth realisation of the CATAFLU.OR project, and in particular:

  • to co-ordinate and supervise activities to be carried out
  • to carry out the overall administrative and financial management of the project
  • to manage the contract with the European Commission and the Consortium Agreement
  • to manage the knowledge generated by the project and IPRs
  • to manage contacts with the European Commission
  • to monitor quality and timing of project deliverables

to establish effective internal and external communication procedures

Description of work

The following tasks will be implemented within the management activities:

  • communication and exchange with the European Commission
  • establishment and management of communication procedures and tools for facilitating exchange among partners
  • organisation and follow up of co-ordination meetings among the partners (kick off meeting and meetings at month 12, 24 and 34)
  • overall legal and contractual management, including the preparation and maintenance of the Consortium Agreement
  • organisation of the activity reports to be delivered to the European Commission, including the collection of contributions from the partners
  • financial and administrative management of the project, including the circulation of EC contribution as well as the collection and check of financial statements and related information to be included in the management report
  • monitoring of project activities and work progress on the basis of periodical reports from the partners as well as of the results of project co-ordination meetings. Quality control of project deliverables
  • management of knowledge generated by the project in accordance to the provisions included in the EU contract and the Consortium Agreement and co-ordination of the innovation-related activities.

Management activities will be organised by the Co-ordinator, and carried out with the assistance of the project management team and with the contribution of the partners of the project. Costs related to the coordination of research activities have been included in the RTD and Other Activities.
